Agents Cite Slidell Man for Littering in Orleans Parish
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is responsible for managing and protecting Louisiana’s abundant natural resources. The department issues hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses, as well as boat titles and registrations. Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) agents cited a Slidell man for an alleged littering violation in Orleans Parish on Oct. 5. Agents were patrolling the area when they were notified about a large litter pile just outside of Irish Bayou. After investigating the location, agents found multiple forms of documentation that linked Adilio Erazo Cartagena to the litter. They issued him the citation for gross littering and he was issued with a $900 fine, up to 30 days in jail and 16 hours of community service in a litter abatement program.

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) enforcement agents cited a Slidell man for an alleged littering violation in Orleans Parish on Oct. 5.
LDWF agents cited Adilio Erazo Cartagena, 40, for gross littering.
Agents were patrolling the Orleans Parish area when they were notified about a large litter pile just outside of Irish Bayou. After investigating the location, agents found multiple forms of documentation that linked Cartagena to the litter.
Agents made contact with Cartagena and issued him the citation for gross littering.
Gross littering carries up to a $900 fine, up to 30 days in jail and 16 hours of community service in a litter abatement program.
LDWF agents participating in this case are Agent Mason Castello and Agent Jimmie Daniel.
